Child Safety Standards

Effective date: 4 August 2026 Last updated: 4 August 2026 Operator: Andy Judge (trading as Rindr) Child safety contact: support@rindr.app

Rindr is an adults-only dating and social app. We do not allow anyone under 18 to create or use an account. This page sets out our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Zero tolerance

Rindr has zero tolerance for:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
  • Grooming, solicitation, or sexual exploitation of minors
  • Accounts operated by or depicting anyone under 18
  • Sharing, requesting, or trading any content involving minors

Any such activity may result in immediate account termination, preservation of evidence where appropriate, and reporting to regional or national authorities (including NCMEC where required).

Age restrictions and verification

  • Users must be 18 or older to register and use Rindr.
  • Users provide a date of birth during registration. Misrepresenting age is grounds for immediate removal.
  • We may require additional age or identity checks where required by law or when we have reason to believe an account may involve a minor.

In-app reporting

Users can report child safety concerns in the app, including an Underage report reason on profiles and related report flows for messages/media.

How to report:

  1. Open the profile or content concerned.
  2. Use Report (or equivalent).
  3. Choose Underage or describe the child safety concern.
  4. Submit the report.

You can also email support@rindr.app with subject Child safety report, including links, usernames, screenshots, or other details that help us investigate.

How we respond

When we receive a report or otherwise detect a potential child safety issue, we aim to:

  1. Review the report and related content promptly.
  2. Remove violating content and restrict or terminate accounts as needed.
  3. Preserve relevant records where required for investigations or legal obligations.
  4. Report confirmed or reasonably suspected CSAM / CSAE to the appropriate regional or national authorities.
  5. Cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

Prevention practices

  • Adults-only product positioning and age gate at registration
  • Community rules prohibiting exploitation and illegal content
  • User blocking and reporting tools
  • Moderation review of reports, including underage and related safety reports
  • Account suspension or permanent bans for serious violations
